DRC in Ukraine: Emergency aid to Odesa

Parcels on the way to Balta and Podilsk in Odesa Oblast in southwestern Ukraine, where communities are in dire need of humanitarian aid due to the consequences of active fighting.

DRC supports local NGOs in addressing urgent and immediate humanitarian needs in Ukraine. One of more shipments of humanitarian aid was packed and sent off 26 March.

In the boxes:  

  • Food: cereal, canned goods, tea/coffee, cookies, bars;
  • Hygiene products: washing powder, soap, toothpaste, razors, dishwashing soap, hand creme;
  • Goods for children: diapers, baby food (mixtures, purees, juices), baby creme/powder, plaids;
  • Medicines: antiviral and anti-inflammatory drugs, sedatives, antibiotics, lollipops for sore throats, anti-fungal cremes, thermometers, tonometers, etc.

DRC is scaling up responses within Ukraine, in neighbouring countries, the wider Europa and Denmark where refugees from arrive daily.
