Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a Cleaner in Mykolaiv.
This position will be line managed by the Administration Team Leader.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Daily wet cleaning of offices, common areas (corridor, kitchen, restroom, conference room);
- Daily dry cleaning of surfaces in common areas, as well as their disinfection;
- Polishing surfaces and furniture;
- Ensuring cleanliness of glass, mirror, and ceramic surfaces;
- Washing kitchen appliances and utensils (coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator, etc. as needed);
- Monitoring the availability of office consumables (liquid soap, toilet paper, hand towels, cleaning agents, etc.);
- Daily garbage collection, replacement of garbage bags;
- Seasonal window cleaning (twice a year or as needed);
- Conducting general cleaning four times a year;
- Dusting switches, skirting boards, and hardware;
- Caring for office plants;
- Creating an atmosphere of cleanliness and friendliness.
About you

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for national staff.
