Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a Cleaner in Dnipro.
The Cleaner plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the office and guest house. The position supports the well-being and comfort of staff and visitors by ensuring that all premises are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Perform wet cleaning of offices and common areas, including corridors, kitchen, restrooms, and conference rooms, as required
- Carry out dry cleaning and disinfection of surfaces in common areas
- Polish furniture and interior surfaces
- Ensure cleanliness of glass, mirror, and ceramic surfaces
- Clean kitchen appliances and utensils (coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator, dishes, etc.) as needed
- Monitor and report on the availability of cleaning and hygiene supplies (liquid soap, detergents, paper products, etc.)
- Collect waste and replace trash bags
- Conduct seasonal window cleaning (twice a year or as required)
- Perform general cleaning tasks as needed, including dusting switches, baseboards, and door hardware
- Take care of indoor plants
- Carry out cleaning of guest house/apartments, including floors, furniture, sanitary facilities, kitchen appliances, utensils, and windows (seasonal/as needed)
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Moreover, we also expect the following:

- Contract length: probation period - 3 months with the possibility of extension depending on performance and availability of funding.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for national staff.
