Conoce la Evaluación Rápida de Protección tras el terremoto en Buenaventura, Colombia (English below)

La evaluación rápida de protección (ERP) se realizó entre el 26 de agosto y 03 de septiembre de 2026 en Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca, tras el terremoto de magnitud 7.4 del 10 de agosto 2026. La información se recopiló mediante 7 entrevistas con actores clave (EAC) y observaciones directas (OD) con el apoyo de la iniciativa ProLACs1, organizaciones, liderazgos comunitarios y población afectada, y se trianguló con fuentes secundarias de OCHA, UNGRD, autoridades locales y otras. Los hallazgos son indicativos de los lugares y actores consultados y no son estadísticamente representativos.

Th e Rapid Protection Assessment (RPA) was conducted in Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca, between 26 August and 3 September 2026, following the magnitude 7.4 earthquake of 10 August 2026. Information was collected through seven key informant interviews (KIIs) and direct observations (DOs), with support from the ProLAC initiative , as well as from organisations, community leaders and affected people. The information was triangulated with secondary sources from OCHA, UNGRD, local authorities and other sources. The findings are indicative of conditions in the locations and among the actors consulted and are not statistically representative.
