Are you interested in developing your diaspora organization? Is there an area of your organization that you would like to improve or learn more about such as fundraising, strategy, or volunteer management? DiPS offers the opportunity for 4-6 diaspora organizations per year to attend an organizational development program with our consultant Faisal.
In 2023 the program will take place from April until October/November with meetings taking place mainly in Copenhagen or virtually. Organizations who join the program will attend 5-8 meetings and workshops and receive trainings and one-on-one support to develop their organizations.
The program is open to Somali and Afghan diaspora organizations based in Denmark. You do not need to have applied for DiPS to participate. To be eligible you need to be 2-3 volunteers from your organization who are willing to participate and willing to commit to attending the meetings as well as working on the development of the organization during this time.
The next program is expected to start in 2024. If you are interested, you are welcome to write to [email protected]. Organizations will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis and prioritized based on if they have previously received funding and/or applied for, but not received funding from DiPS.
