Location of work: MMC/Jere, Bama, Banki, and Ngala, (Borno state)

About the position
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- The MEAL Team to carrying out all Assessments, beneficiaries profiling and data upload to online platform, and other MEAL related activity.
He/she ensure that:
- They follow all DRC’s Code of Conduct
- All activities and information or data are kept Confidential
- They are impartial in carrying out their duties especially in dealing with Beneficiaries.
- They have a good contextual knowledge of Local Community and Social/Cultural constraints, realities and organizational relationships.
He/she will manage:
- All DRC’s gadgets such as Phones, Chargers, power bank, Visibilities etc.
- All DRC’s Data and have high level of credibility, confidentiality, and accountability.
About you
To be successful in this role, we expect the following:
Required
- Minimum 1year of experience of working in a relief or development agency (preferably in the monitoring and evaluation domain).
- Minimum of Secondary School Certificate and Computer skill.
- A good knowledge of General and Mobile Data Collection Tools. E.g, KOBO Collect, ODK (Open Data Kit), Magpi e.t.c.
- Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative data collection activities (surveys, assessments, monitoring, evaluations, etc.
- Inspires trust within/outside of the Organization.
Desirable
- Fluency in spoken and written English, Kanuri, Hausa, and Community Immediate Language is required.
- Willingness to travel locally up to 90% of the time.
We offer
Contract length: 6 Months (the casual worker will be paid only according to the number of days worked during this period)
Start date: 1 February 2026
