1. Background
DRC has been operating in West Africa since 1998 and in Latin America and the Caribbean since 2011. The DRC Hub Office West-North Africa & Latin America (WANALA) is based in Dakar, Senegal, and covers several countries. Led by the Regional Executive Director, DRC WANALA oversees, supports, and provides strategic directions for DRC’s Country Offices within the abovementioned regions.
2. Purpose
The overall purpose of the role is to provide general administrative support to the HQ Hub staff on Human resources aspects
The Human Resources Officer for the Dakar Hub supports the Principal Operational Support Adviser in overseeing all aspects of human resources for the Dakar hub and in delivering optimized service in terms of cost, quality, and timeliness to managers and employees of the Regional Office. In addition, there will be frequent interaction with all departments of the Hub, including support to the Hosted entities teams and occasional interaction with the management and coordination teams of DRC country offices.
