CAAFAG Assessement Report in the Southwest Cameroon

CAAFAG stands for Children Associated with Armed Forces or Armed Groups. Marked by massive displacement and disruption of education, children in the Southwest region have been exposed to various forms of violence and exploitation, association and use by state and non-state armed groups which negatively affects their wellbeing and development. The overall objective of this assessment was to assess the incidence of child recruitment, with a focus on the factors that trigger and sustain association, release and reintegration.
