EU

With a representation office in Brussels, Danish Refugee Council (DRC) works to influence EU policies on asylum, migration, displacement and humanitarian aid, while seeking to bolster its strategic EU partnerships.

EU policies on asylum and migration, humanitarian aid and development cooperation can significantly impact the treatment of asylum seekers, refugees, migrants, and displaced populations both in the EU and globally.

DRC has been present in Brussels since 2016 with the overall objective to establish DRC as a partner of choice for EU institutions and to maximize DRC’s influence on relevant EU policies related to asylum and migration, humanitarian aid, and sustainable solutions for displacement-affected populations. Our approach seeks to ensure that EU’s policies are informed by DRC practice and have a positive impact on the populations we serve.
