Information Management Systems (IMS) and data analysis are not just technical novelties but concern the very essence of humanitarianism, which should be founded on a strong evidence base, and be rooted in the principles of impartiality and do no harm. Information Management across the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is crucial to ensuring that the data we collect can be turned into information, and personal and institutional knowledge that informs and strengthens how we provide support to the communities we work with.
