In Americas, DRC is present in Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela and Peru. In a context of mixed migration flows and internal displacement dynamics, millions of people have been forced to seek protection outside their countries of origin due to persecution, generalized violence, massive human rights violations and non-international armed conflicts.

DRC established operational presence in Colombia in 2011 with focus on Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) and providing support to conflict-affected population in the south of the country.

In Mexico in 2020 providing protection and assistance to refugees and migrants in Tapachula and in Ciudad Juarez.  Nowadays, DRC delivers life-saving assistance to refugees, migrants, internally displaced persons and host communities through integrated humanitarian response focused on most vulnerable individuals and communities affected by conflict and displacement in Americas.
