DRC Farmer Market Associations in Bentiu, South Sudan

DRC is supporting farmers in South Sudan through the Farmer Market Associations (FMA) initiative. This program connects small-scale farmers to larger markets, providing them with essential training, resources, and a platform to sell their produce at fair prices.

By championing local farmers, DRC helps improve livelihoods, boost income, and strengthen food security in vulnerable communities. Through collective bargaining and market access, the Farmer Market Associations are transforming agriculture into a sustainable source of income and resilience for South Sudanese farmers.
