Fatal vehicle accident in Tanzania kills DRC employee

It is with great sadness that the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) must inform of the passing of a colleague from our country team in Tanzania.

A DRC employee was fatally injured after being involved in a traffic accident on 20 March 2023. No other colleagues were present.

“We are extremely saddened by the loss of our colleague who was a highly valued member of the team in Tanzania. He will be forever missed, and our thoughts and support are with his family and relatives as they go through these difficult times”, said DRC's Secretary General, Charlotte Slente.

DRC will provide support to the family and DRC colleagues in Tanzania.
