It has come to the attention of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) that a fraudulent website purporting to have DRC's support operates under the domain glife.help. DRC would like to clarify that it has no affiliation with the website and any services, registrations, or payments it advertises. Our logo and name and that of others have been used without authorization. This website:
- Fraudulently misuses DRC’s name and logo without authorization.
- Claims to “provide safe passage” and “humanitarian evacuation” for civilians from war zones, including Gaza.
- Advertises a fabricated “Partnership between GLife & UNHCR” and promises legal documentation, border coordination, temporary protection, resettlement, housing, cash assistance, language courses, psychosocial care, and job placement.
- Publishes unverifiable figures (e.g. “$300M+ raised,” “1,000K+ members,” “950,000+ children helped”) to appear legitimate.
- Invites people to register, share personal documents, and potentially make payments or transfers under the guise of humanitarian aid.
DRC categorically states it has no affiliation, cooperation, or partnership with “GLife,” “glife.help,” “Gaza life” or any individuals associated with this platform. DRC does not charge fees, request bank details, or solicit personal identification data from crisis-affected people via third-party sites for access to assistance or employment.
This website appears designed to exploit the desperation of people in Gaza and elsewhere for financial gain and data harvesting. We are initiating legal and technical measures to have the website shut down and the removal of all related online pages using DRC’s logo. Misusing DRC’s name for fraudulent purposes constitutes a criminal offence, and the organization will report it to relevant law enforcement entities.
Individuals are urged not to register, pay, or upload any personal/financial information to this site. If you have already engaged, we advise you to change passwords, alert your bank, and report the incident to local authorities.
Please verify information about DRC and the services it provides exclusively through our official website, verified social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Bluesky), and accredited country offices. Suspicious use of DRC’s identity should be reported to [email protected].
