How Durable Solutions are Bringing Water to Hajjah

In Al-Batarya area in Hajjah governorate, Yemen, thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable families faced years of severe water shortages. The old Al-Radha Water Supply System (WSS) posed serious risks, leaving many communities without safe access to water.

Voices of Resilience

In Al-Radha, clean water was once a source of struggle and tension. Today, it is a shared resource bringing people together. Funded by the European Union, the Al-Radha Water System now provides safe water to 14,600 individuals, including 8,900 displaced people across seven sites.
