GBV Innovation Programme
Advancing Economic Empowerment of Survivors of Gender-Based Violence in Humanitarian Settings through Evidence and Localized Action for Gender Transformative Change
This global programme was implemented by the Global Protection Unit at DRC from 2021 to 2024 in partnership with the Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC) and was funded by the U.S. Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (BPRM).
The programme supported local anchor groups (LAGs) in Jordan, Lebanon, Niger and Uganda with capacity development. Subsequently, the LAGs develop contextualized Theory of Change models on integrated Gender-Based Violence and Economic Recovery programming that were piloted by local partners.
On this page you will find readings and lessons learned from the programme as well as some of the research and tools developed in the programme.
