Asylum

Defending the right to seek safety so refugees aren’t pushed back into danger.

Every person seeking asylum is looking for the same thing: safety, dignity, and a fair chance to rebuild life after fleeing danger. But around the world, access to protection is becoming harder, and many people face violence, pushbacks, and policies that leave them even more vulnerable.

Danish Refugee Council works every day to defend the right to seek asylum. Our teams provide legal aid, document human rights violations, and advocate for fair, humane asylum systems that protect people in need.
