Conflict forces millions of people to flee their homes with nothing but fear and uncertainty. In Sudan, Ukraine, Yemen, Somalia, and many other places, families are caught in violence they cannot escape — losing loved ones, livelihoods, and the safety they once knew. For those who survive, the hardest part often comes after: finding shelter, food, protection, and a path to rebuild life again.

Danish Refugee Council is present in some of the world’s most dangerous conflicts, staying even when conditions worsen.
