Migration

Protecting people on the move with safety, dignity, and support during dangerous migration journeys.

Every year, people embark on dangerous migration journeys because staying home is no longer an option. They face violence at borders, pushbacks, detention, discrimination, and uncertainty at every step — all while simply trying to find safety or reunite with family. Many lose everything along the way.

Danish Refugee Council works across the whole world to protect people on the move. Our teams document human rights violations, provide legal aid, offer safe spaces, and support those who have survived traumatic journeys. We advocate for humane migration policies while helping individuals access protection, medical care, and basic dignity.
