Women

Supporting displaced women with safety, opportunities, and the tools to rebuild strong futures.

Women and girls are often the first to sacrifice and the last to receive support when crisis strikes. Many are fleeing war, caring for children alone, or facing gender‑based violence with no safe place to turn. Yet when given the chance, they rebuild families, communities, and entire futures.

Danish Refugee Council supports women across Ukraine, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, South Sudan, Kenya, and many other crisis‑affected regions. From protection against violence, to medical aid, to micro‑grants that help women start small businesses, our teams work to ensure women can live in safety and dignity.

A simple opportunity — a safe space, a cash grant, access to health care — can transform a woman’s life.
