DRC statement on the escalation of violence in Israel/Palestine

With the situation worsening by the hour in Israel/Palestine, The Danish Refugee Council urges parties to protect the lives of civilians.

The Danish Refugee Council are deeply concerned to see how the situation is developing in Israel/Palestine. The escalation of violence has already caused the loss of civilian lives in Israel and Gaza, while also affecting the neighboring countries.

We call upon all parties to respect the principles of International Humanitarian Laws and urge them to protect the lives of civilians. All parties must end conflict peacefully and allow humanitarian access to people in need.
